Radiation Therapy Modalities We Employ
Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
We use linear accelerators such as the Varian TrueBeam system
Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRT)
We use the CyberKnife system which is an ultra high-precision robotic system which uses image guidance
High Dose Rate Brachytherapy
We use HDR brachytherapy for treating tumors such as cervical and endometrial cancer
Low Dose Rate Brachytherapy
We use LDR brachytherapy for permanent implants such as for treatment of prostate cancer
Total Body Irradiation
TBI is used to suppress the immune system and prevent rejection of donor bone marrow
SRT for Cardiac Arrhythmogenic Foci
SRT is under evaluation for radioablation of cardiac arrhythmogenic foci which are not successfully treated by other means
